We're Expanding our National Team of DAS Engineers for Public Safety & Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems

VeriDAS Technologies is expanding our national team of DAS Engineers. We're adding professional DAS Engineers with significant experience in in-building wireless coverage Public Safety DAS and commercial Cellular DAS system design, planning & commissioning.

DAS Engineers With Public Safety DAS & Cellular DAS Experience

VeriDAS is a national Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) integrator with a focus on in-building wireless Public Safety DAS & Cellular DAS systems. As we continue to grow, we are adding experienced DAS Engineers to our team of professionals. Please contact us if you’re interested in the DAS Engineer jobs or if you can recommend someone for this position.

All of our DAS Engineers have significant experience designing & planning commercial in-building wireless Public Safety DAS & Cellular DAS systems in a wide variety of large scale buildings, facilities & campuses. Our DAS Engineers assess, design, plan, optimize & commission the installation and upgrade of indoor distributed antenna systems that amplify Public Safety RF (radio frequency) and multi-carrier cellular signal.

DAS Engineers Job Responsibilities

Our DAS Engineers are responsible for the design of in-building fiber optic, coax and standalone repeater systems to boost indoor wireless Public Safety (RF) and commercial Cellular signal coverage. Additional responsibilities include passive intermodulation analysis, and CW & active system drive test analysis. Our DAS Engineers also:

  • Complete site surveys to determine coverage/building requirements and factors affecting design & installation
  • Develop & analyze RF link budgets using iBwave
  • Repeater Design: calculation of antenna gain, line loss & amplification
  • Design of fiber distribution needed as well as passive component insertion losses & gains
  • Draft customer design document proposals describing recommended coverage solutions
  • Conduct pre-construction walk throughs
  • Commission & test new systems
  • Troubleshoot system problems to satisfactory resolution
  • Work with OEM technical support staff to address and resolve issues
  • Analyze various coverage data collected
  • Provide training & technical support to other employees & contractors
  • Produce technical materials e.g., spec sheets, user manuals, quick-start guides, troubleshooting guides, white papers, etc.
  • Create & present training materials (in-person, video & conference calls)
  • Reconcile and document necessary paperwork for expenses and billing
DAS Engineers Job Experience
  • 5 years experience with iBwave design
  • 5 years experience in DAS system design, planning & optimization
  • 5 years experience in DAS commissioning
  • 5 years experience with various active DAS OEMs
