A large retailer partnered with the experienced DAS integrators of VeriDAS Technologies to design and install an in-building wireless Public Safety DAS (distributed antenna system) for a new 100,000 square foot facility in the Greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area.

The new retail location required an Emergency Responder Radio Coverage System (ERRCS), also commonly called an in-building Public Safety DAS (distributed antenna system), to extend the Minneapolis public safety radio system signal inside and throughout the large new facility (including underground structures). This solution enables first responders (fire, police and medical services) to communicate with each other and with dispatch while responding to emergencies inside the store.
